IT infrastructure outsourcing deal

A new business to business outsourcing deal has been signed between SHL and Capgemini that should see the latter manage the other firm's IT services.
Under the terms of the agreement, the infrastructure at SHL will be shifted from venues in America and Europe to a single one in Bristol, reports CBR.
And 20 members of staff who used to work for SHL will now be employed by the other company, the duo stated.
Director at Capgemini Paul Soutter claimed that the match should be a good one for both of the companies involved.
"We are ... confident that we can provide the consistent and predictable growth in IT capability that they will need as their business develops over the next six years," he commented to the publication.
Virtual server equipment is likely to be utilised at the venue in the bid to lower costs for SHL, Capgemini remarked.
Recently, Deliotte warned that firms looking to outsource should look at the risks involved.
