Hosting centres 'popular in Europe'
22/02/2008
More firms in Europe, the Middle East and Africa are beginning to consider hosted contact centres as a viable option, according to research from Frost & Sullivan.
The consultants claimed that revenue generated at such hosting companies will rise from 77.9 million (£209.7 million) in 2007 to 1.45 billion in 2014, reports vnunet.com.
And these avenues are attractive for firms because businesses can lower their costs and because operations can be simplified, the research body remarked.
But it asserted the largest driver to come into play is the fact that these organisations can move costs to the operational sector.
Research analyst at Frost & Sullivan Kunal Kakodkar discussed the positives behind outsourcing.
"This is an attractive business proposition for small and mid-sized enterprises that seek contact centre technology but do not have access to the capital expenditure required for expensive premises equipment," he commented.
Frost & Sullivan says that it has a mission to fully research markets and economies throughout the world.
